Center City Restaurant Week Returns for 2022!

Now's your chance to explore some of the city's hottest spots!

Let’s face it, by the time the holiday season is over most of us are wiped out. Truly from Halloween to New Year’s Day it’s a nonstop rush of decorations, perfect outfits, meal planning, gatherings, gift buying, events, and more. We often miss out on the one thing we enjoy the most- spending quality time with people we love to hang out with! Whether that is friends, family, co-workers, or some combination of all three you might feel like you arrived here on the other side of a New Year and missed that opportunity. Fear not- Center City District has solved your conundrum by extending your celebratory season with Restaurant Week! Beginning on Sunday, January 9 and running through Friday, January 21, dozens of restaurants will participate in this prix-fixe dining promo!

With 60 participants for dinner ($40 3-course menu) and many also serving lunch ($25 menu) you can try out those restaurants on your “gotta get there” list! Be sure to acquaint yourself with the city’s COVID-19 vaccination rules before making a reservation to dine inside, but also be aware that many places are offering to go options, and outdoor dining for those who’d prefer that. Driving into town? Reserve $9 parking at Center City District Restaurant Week (and while you’re there enter to win dinner for a year!). CCD also reminds patrons that your servers are working just as hard for these reduced price menus as they do when the food is regularly priced, so be generous!

You can find the full lineup of participating restaurants on the CCD website, but we thought we’d let our team share their favorite spots on the list with you! We are so excited about the growth the Family Focus Media team has experienced in the past couple of months with addition of new writers, calendar editors, and marketing assistants as well as expanding with the addition of Bucks County Parent to our family of brands.

“Osteria will always have a special place in my heart because we used to live above it, with big southern-facing windows overlooking the city in LOFT 640. This North Broad Street Italian Trattoria has an upscale-rustic atmosphere, delicious antipasti, thin-crust pizzas fired in wood-burning ovens, and a great wine list to excite your palate.

“Nearly impossible to pick one solid favorite from this list, but my most recent experience is at Bellini. I took my two daughters and my mother in law there for dinner before Hamilton. The waiters treated my girls like princesses, their delicious food was classic Italian that makes my heart happy, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. You cannot miss out on their ravioli (the biggest I’ve ever seen!), or any of their pasta dishes, and from the entrée section I highly recommend the Pollo San Marco. Also, don’t miss out on your chance to order a Bellini Blossom cocktail!”

Melissa Nielson – Business Development Manager

“Melograno BYOB is one of our tried and true favorites!  Always so good,  and consistently fresh ingredients.  Our favorites are the roasted artichoke hearts and the cacio e pepe.   And the best part!?!  It’s BYOB!”

Lani Panico – Calendar Editor and Contributing Writer, Philadelphia Family

“Panorama is one of my favorite places in the city! Not only do they have DELICIOUS Italian food, but I can’t get enough of their wine flights. The presentation is amazing, the flavors are unforgettable, and the staff is super friendly.”

Beth Gilbert-Crowell – Calendar Editor and Contributing Writer, Main Line Parent

“I love Caribou Café because when I’m there, I feel like I’m in France! Their menu features lots of classic and delicious French bistro food and a nice, curated selection of wines and cocktails. The atmosphere really captures that French café style with its high ceilings, long marble-top bar, and doors that open out onto the city sidewalk. It’s the perfect place to linger over a meal and great conversation!

Stef Arck-Baynes – Contributing Writer, Main Line Parent and Philadelphia Family

“I’d probably pick Twisted Tail — it holds a special place in my heart as the site of my now-husband and my first date, as well as where we held my baby shower. In addition to the intimate vibe of the upstairs lounge and bar with fireplace, darts,  and shuffleboard table, they have scrumptious cocktails and the menu offers something for everyone.”
