User-friendly interactive touchscreens allow guests to “dig deeper” and discover more information behind objects and artifacts. A complimentary stylus is provided for a safe, touch-free experience. The Penn Museum also offers virtual tours, kids’ activities, livestream at-home projects, and more online. Most virtual programs are free or pay-what-you-wish.

Formally known as the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, the Penn Museum has been transforming our understanding of the human experience since 1887. Dedicated to building connections between cultures, the Museum welcomes everyone to uncover the past, gain an understanding of our shared humanity, and find one’s own place in the arc of human history.
