Art Opening: Walking the Edge Community Show

January 26 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

The Schuylkill Center’s first exhibition of 2023, “Walking the Edge,” is a community art exhibit inspired by the city’s borders.  In collaboration with Walk Around Philadelphia, the exhibit includes artwork about perimeters, borders, and boundaries along the city of Philadelphia, other urban landscapes, and natural spaces. Submissions may include works on paper, poetry, photographs, creative writings, mixed-media, paintings, fiber arts, small sculptures, and more. You can experience this multimedia display in both the art gallery and on the Center’s website.

Mingle, explore, and listen to remarks from curators JJ Tiziou and Director of Environmental Art Kristina Murray.

Light food and refreshments will be served.
The event will take place indoors. Donations appreciated. Registration required.
