Big Ideas for Little Learners (BILL) is a literacy program for pre-schoolers and their families. Developed in partnership with the Early Childhood Education Center at the Salvation Army Kroc Center, this program introduces “big ideas” — such as respect, empathy, and courage — to our littlest learners.
In their final session of the year, Little Learners and their grown-ups will read Maybe Something Beautiful and enjoy favorite BILL activities, from word hunts to LEGO building, in a literacy Field Day! This program takes place at the Salvation Army Kroc Center and it is free to register and participate. All programs include read-aloud, hands-on activities, a reading corner, and refreshments. In addition, all participating families will receive a custom Take & Do bag with materials and resources to continue learning at home. Lead support for Big Ideas for Little Learners is provided by the William Penn Foundation.
