Bird Watching Tour
November 5 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Join LGBTQ+ led families from Philadelphia Family Pride and folks from Philly Queer Birders for a morning walk to learn about and look for birds on Sunday, Nov. 5th starting at 9 am at the Discovery Center in Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park. They will provide binoculars for all ages. There’s a place to go inside to get warm and/or use the restroom. There is an overlook of the reservoir from an ADA accessible space. Beyond that there is a flat, grassy trail that is only semi-stroller accessible. Best strollers for this trail will be ones with bigger wheels. The address is 3401 Reservoir Drive in Philadelphia. The parking lot is right across from the disc golf course. There are also bike racks. The closest bus route is #32.
