Ceramic Tile Workshop
September 9 @ 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm
One of the elements that make the mosaics at Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens (PMG) so special are the many handmade tiles crafted by PMG artist Isaiah Zagar.
In this one hour workshop, participants learn how to make a doily tile from clay and then glaze one in the color of their choice. Each participant will also glaze a 4 x 4 inch ceramic tile with their own design. PMG will fire the tiles, and they will be ready for pick up in one week.
Please be aware that we will be working in a space that can only be accessed by stairs. Tickets also include general admission to PMG.
This workshop is open to participants ages 5+, but all participants under 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult participant.
