Easter Family Fun Day at the American Swedish Historical Museum
April 6 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Discover the unique traditions of a Swedish Easter at the American Swedish Historical Museum on April 6, 2025! Children can dress up as Easter witches with painted cheeks and freckles, enjoy face painting, and make crafts reflecting Swedish holiday customs. Unlike the religious focus in other cultures, Swedish Easter celebrates witches, colored feathers, and lots of treats! The day concludes with an exciting egg hunt on Museum grounds (weather permitting), where children can follow clues to find their prizes.
Join in this fun cultural experience that brings Swedish Easter traditions to life for the whole family!
Members are free. Adults: $15, Seniors/Students: $10, Children 2-12: $5,
Children under 2 are free. Pay at the door.
