GirlzDay: Our World, Our Way is an all-day fun-filled experience for girls in grades K-12, offering them the chance to discover their potential, dream big, and immerse themselves in a day full of energy, creativity, and sisterhood.

GirlzDay not only represents the culmination of GSEP’s pilot program, Calling All Girl Bosses, designed to empower Philadelphia girls in grades 6-12 to effect real change in their neighborhoods, but also celebrates girls throughout GSEP’s 9-county footprint. Over the past nine months, ‘Girl Bosses’ have collaborated with their peers, dedicated volunteers and mentors to identify problems in their communities, such as homelessness, public transportation safety, and hunger, and take actionable steps to develop sustainable solutions – leading the change they want to see in Philadelphia.

At GirlzDay, girls will have the opportunity to show off their inspiring Take Action projects. In addition, Girl Scouts from across Eastern Pennsylvania who have earned their Girl Scout Bronze, Silver, or Gold Awards over the past year will be recognized for their remarkable leadership through their sustainable and measurable Take Action projects.

The event will be action-packed, inviting girls and their families to hear from inspiring women leaders, try new things in the Hall of Experiences, and dance the day away at the glow dance party with local DJ, DeeJay Shelly. Girls will have a blast skating with friends at the indoor roller rink, exploring the world of science and innovation through live science demonstrations, and making their own GirlzDay bear at the Build-A-Bear workshop (additional fee). Best of all, attendees will receive GirlzDay swag, be eligible for free giveaways, meet new friends, and more!
