PECO Family Jams: Clay Animals with George Rodriguez

Clay can be manipulated, textured, colored, treated, and combined with other mediums to create a wide variety of objects. In PMG’s current exhibition In Unison: Ceramic Sculptures by George Rodriguez, Rodriguez explores those possibilities through intimate collaborations with 13 other artists. Today, Rodriguez will be demonstrating some of the techniques he uses to bring richness and beauty to this most elemental medium. Experiment with texture and stamps for decoration as you make a small clay animal head of your own to take home.
