PECO Free First Sunday Family Day: Voices of Freedom

June 4 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

It’s the first Sunday of the month, which means free admission at the Barnes. This month, they’re celebrating the lives of individuals who championed liberation and freedom with performances by jazz artist Hannibal Lokumbe. Lokumbe’s composition, And Their Voices Cry Freedom!, is a musical tribute to Anne Frank and civil rights activist Fannie Lou Hamer. Reflect upon the courageous actions of both figures, plus enjoy art activities, storytime, and free access to the Barnes collection.
