South Philadelphia Back to School Book Bag Drive

It is time for school season to resume and to help families get ready, Latinos Educando Juntos (LEJ), a non-profit that offers extensive resources and worthwhile programs to childcare providers in the LatinX community, is presenting this South Philadelphia Back to School Book Bag Drive. It will take place on Friday, August 25 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Children’s Playhouse, 2501 S. Marshall Street (6th and Porter Streets). Funded by Children’s Playhouse, families are invited to attend and receive free giveaways – including a book bag for each child, resource information for parents, popcorn and cotton candy. Donations are also welcome.
