South Philly Book Crawl

December 16 @ 12:00 pm

Join the Pier Players Theater Co. for some holiday shopping – with a touch of local history!
They’ve partnered with a handful of independent bookstores to feature along this jaunt through South Philly.

The Pier Players’ own Julianne Kastner has been a history tour guide in Philadelphia for four years. This event combines two of her favorite topics – site-specific history and supporting small businesses.

Fully immerse yourself in the stories of Philadelphia’s yesteryears and the notable literary figures who trod these same cobblestones, and learn fun facts about the bookstores you’ll be browsing.

Which include…

Mostly Books
Black and Nobel
Garland of Letters Bookstore
The Philly Game Shop
and more!

This Book Crawl is also a fundraiser for the upcoming Pier Players production The Angry Grammarianwhich you can learn more about here!

The ticket price will support our theatre company in staging this new musical; anything you buy along the book crawl will directly support these stores!
