Tuesday Tea at Carpenters’ Hall

February 4 @ 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm

$85

Enjoy a delightful afternoon tea in the elegant setting of Carpenters’ Hall, a true architectural gem in Old City. This historic building hosted George Washington, John Adams, Patrick Henry, and other delegates of the First Continental Congress in 1774 as they shaped a new American identity.

Savor a delicious selection of sweet and savory treats* while you’re joined by Dolley Todd Madison, wife of President James Madison and the nation’s most gracious hostess. She’ll share fascinating stories about the important role tea played in the colonial economy and the American Revolution, including tales beyond the Boston Tea Party! Carpenters’ Hall’s rarely-seen historic six-piece silver tea service will also be on display.

*Vegetarian and gluten-free options available.
