World of Collage

May 6 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Please join InLiquid in the Lower Level of Towne Center from 1 – 4 pm on Saturday, May 6th, for a celebration of all things collage! In honor of World Collage Day InLiquid is partnering with Philadelphia CollageWorks to celebrate the imaginative, fun, and carefree World of Collage.

Choose among four activities and create a variety of collage art to take home or share as a gift with friends and family. Play and experiment with a variety of papers, assemble a 3-D collage, and contribute to a Community Collage Quilt Project. There will be kid-friendly collage art activities and something for all levels, from beginners to experts.

Philadelphia CollageWorks (PCW) is a collective of collage artists and collage enthusiasts who focuses on the promotion of collage as a unique art form. PCW supports the creation, study and appreciation of collage, assemblage and related mixed-media art. Our Membership provides resources for personal creative growth through monthly meetings, critiques, sharing of ideas and participation in art exhibits, conferences, workshops and retreats.

Please note that there is no public parking available on Park Towne Place’s campus. We suggest using a ride-share service, taxi, or public transportation if possible. If you require parking, there is metered parking available on Park Towne Place Street, as well as on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, as well as a nearby garage, Patriot Parking Garage at 139 North 23rd Street.
