DESCRIPTION:Newlin Grist Mill and Wild Birds Unlimited (Glen Mills) have teamed up to explore the wonderful world of bird life! Join them for monthly naturalist-led walks through the 160-acre park at Newlin Grist Mill. They will meet year-round residents\, visit exciting migrants\, and learn the basics of bird identification and biology. \nFamilies and beginners are welcome for these free bird walks! A limited number of binoculars are available for use\, but participants are encouraged to bring their own if they have them. Participants should meet by the Log Cabin.

DESCRIPTION:Help celebrate nature and protect the environment with an Earth Day volunteer event! \nEach year\, Newlin brings together diverse volunteers from the community\, including individuals\, families\, scout troops\, and youth groups\, to work on projects that improve habitat for wildlife\, protect important natural resources\, and preserve the park’s plant and animal communities. \nVolunteers will meet to plant trees\, remove invasive plant species\, and improve habitat for birds and wetland wildlife.
