DESCRIPTION:Families can celebrate the Lunar New Year by learning the fundamentals of traditional lion dance! This hands-on workshop introduces basic movements\, rhythms (drumming and cymbals)\, and the cultural meaning behind lion dance. The also includes a short demonstration by the Philly Suns team and practice. The workshop will conclude with a brief parade through Chinatown\, giving participants a chance to experience the vibrant spirit of the New Year firsthand.
