SUMMARY:Lion Dance Workshop & Mini Parade
DESCRIPTION:Families can celebrate the Lunar New Year by learning the fundamentals of traditional lion dance! This hands-on workshop introduces basic movements\, rhythms (drumming and cymbals)\, and the cultural meaning behind lion dance. The also includes a short demonstration by the Philly Suns team and practice. The workshop will conclude with a brief parade through Chinatown\, giving participants a chance to experience the vibrant spirit of the New Year firsthand. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult\, but there is no prior experience required. \nRegister for this event here.
