SUMMARY:Leaf and Learn
DESCRIPTION:The FDR Park Leaf & Learn program gives our littlest visitors (ages 2-5) their first opportunity to volunteer at FDR Park! We begin with a nature-themed read-aloud\, and then get to the outdoorsy fun with easy\, age-appropriate activities. Tasks include planting seeds\, “feeding” a worm farm\, and picking up small pieces of trash with kid-sized grabbers. It’s a great way to get outdoors and teach your child the importance of giving back to their community. \nCome to just one week\, or all five! Older siblings are welcome to attend. Caregivers should register on behalf of their children\, and must remain throughout the activity.
