The Arden Theatre Company is excited to share with you a brand new, filmed version of THE SNOWY DAY, AND OTHER STORIES BY EZRA JACK KEATS (streaming January 17-30, 2022). This filmed theatrical play was recorded in the Hamilton Family Arts Center and presents exciting performances from an all-Philadelphia cast, a set made using a little cardboard and a lot of creativity, and features original music from the popular local band ILL DOOTS.

In order to access this streaming production, they are asking you to consider making a donation of $20 using the button below to support the Arden’s triumphant return to live theatre. With a donation of any amount, you will receive access to stream. Your support helps set the stage for us to present a live, in-person Children’s Theatre production later in 2022.

A Streetcar Named Desire

Originally slated for March 2020, A Streetcar Named Desire held just one public performance at the Arden before the company shut down. This production will return to open the 2022 Mainstage Season. Tennessee Williams’ masterpiece depicts a story of love, lust, and the memories we leave behind.

Jurassic Quest

Jurassic Quest is North America’s largest and most realistic Dinosaur event. Guests walk through the Cretaceous, Jurassic and Triassic Periods and experience for themselves what it was like to be among dinosaurs of all kinds. Jurassic Quest is the only interactive dinosaur event that has over 100 true to life-size animatronic dinosaurs in each of its indoor touring shows from the very small to the gigantic. In collaboration with leading paleontologists, each dinosaur has been painstakingly replicated in every detail. Whether their prehistoric counterpart had skin that was scaly, had feathers or fur, Jurassic Quest has spared no expense in bringing the dinosaurs to life. Jurassic Quest exhibits also allow future paleontologists to dig up fossils, ride their favorite life-sized dinosaur, enjoy walking dinosaur and baby dinosaur shows, and enjoy a dinosaur themed play land in addition to face painting, crafts and much more. Jurassic Quest produced 96 multi-day events in 34 states and Canada selling over one million tickets in 2019.

Voices and Visionaries

Cherry Street Pier – 121 N Christopher Columbus Blvd, Philadelphia PA

Voices and Visionaries, a new Philadelphia Sculptors exhibition at Philadelphia’s Cherry Street Pier, highlights the talents of a diverse group of exceptional artists having ties to Philadelphia. A collaboration between the exhibition curators and seven selected artists, the show highlights individual expression while exposing threads of commonalities amongst the group of Black, Asian, and Latinx artists. Multimedia installations, as well as traditional and non-traditional sculptures will populate different locations on the pier. Participating artists are Syd Carpenter, Eiko Fan, Lucia Garzón, Mei-ling Hom, Taji Ra’oof Nahl, Jermaine Ollivierre, and Heryk Tomassini. On view from October 29, 2021 – January 28, 2022, the exhibition is free and open to the public.
