DESCRIPTION:Gather in West Philadelphia for its 20th annual signature community festival\, Celebrate Mantua. In alignment with America’s semiquincentennial\, the theme for this year’s festival is “250 Black Moves”\, an exploration and celebration of the history of Black movement through dance\, rhythm\, activism\, and advocacy. The festival will educate attendees on how the Black dance legacy is an essential and very visible part of American history\, offering space for community engagement with performances. \nOther festival highlights include a wellness morning workshop series\, mainstage afternoon performances\, a landmark unveiling moment\, a community showcase and resource fair\, adult and kid fun zones\, and much more! \n
