Community Paddle Boating at FDR Park
Join Fairmount Park Conservancy and Independence Seaport Museum for free paddle boating at FDR Park on select summer and fall dates. Families and visitors of all ages can explore Edgewood Lake aboard easy-to-use paddle boats while spotting turtles, ducks, flowers, and other wildlife along the way!
Children must weigh at least 30 pounds to wear a life jacket, and all minors must have an adult present to sign a waiver. Signing up for event reminders is encouraged for weather updates, but does not guarantee a spot on a boat. Wait times may cause the line to close early.
