Kith + Kin | 2024 Family Favorite Honoree – Playspace
Description
Kith + Kin is a family gathering space with a mission to support healthy childhood development and empowered parenthood in the early years. Through a child-led play space, educational classes, family events, and support groups, they provide an environment for connection, growth, and community.
Kith + Kin's open ended toys and play equipment encourages meaningful play that supports motor, cognitive, and social development. In addition to the play space, they offer several kids classes throughout the week that stimulate the mind, body, and spirit. They also host workshops and support groups that aim to educate, support, and empower parents. On the weekends, the space is available for private birthday party rentals. These rentals include full Kith + Kin decor, tablewear, and cutlery for kids and grown-ups so all you have to do is show up and enjoy your special day!
Introducing the Summer Breakfast Club!
The Breakfast Club is a 3.5 hour morning program led by experienced Kith + Kin staff for kids, ages 2-4. They provide a safe, engaging, child-led environment that encourages independence, imagination, and social skills development. Their day includes open play, snack + story time, movement and arts based activities, likely several dance parties, all with an emphasis on FUN! This is perfect for the kiddo who is gearing up for a school program in the fall or one who thrives on a little routine and social learning. Kith + Kin is SO excited to spend more time with some of your kiddos this summer!
Lauren C.
Love Kith + Kin! Perfect for rain, snow, heat… an all weather solution for your cooped up kid! Happy with the cleanliness, selection of toys, and thoughtfulness of layout. My husband and I have also taken several online classes through Kith + Kin and appreciate the resources each have provided. First took our daughter when she was 8 months. There is always plenty to explore for all ages and stages.
