We are a group of dedicated, determined women who blend years of experience in marketing, journalism, and design with passion for family and community connection to publish Main Line Parent and Philadelphia Family. Since 2010 we have built, grown, and stood back in awe.
We love connecting our community. Not only do we create fresh content and publish weekly through MainLineParent.com and PhillyFamily.com, email newsletters, and events for our peers, but we also combine our talents to help companies big and small connect with their audience through comprehensive communications campaigns. Sarah Bond is a community leader, marketing strategist, and mom. Her desire to find mom-friends and create informative art combined with her thirst for learning and consistent improvement has propelled this company forward since 2010. Sarah assembled a team of experts in event planning and production, writing, photography, and design to collaborate in creating a suite of products and services under the Main Line Parent and Philadelphia Family brands to build community with local families. Sarah contributes to all areas of the brands including content creation, operations, and business development, but she especially enjoys making new friends, wearing her “family travel journalist” hat, and opportunities to create integrated marketing campaigns that resonate with the Main Line Parent Community.
Pamela is a busy mother of four who uses her background in early childhood education to not only entertain her darling brood, but understand the youngest audience members of Philadelphia Family. A people person with passion and perseverance, she works one-on-one with local businesses to understand their marketing needs and creates a venue for their voice to be heard. Her warm smile and welcoming attitude make her a partner many now call friend.
Lori is a dedicated community leader, Main Line Native and mom of three. She thrives on connecting with people, both new and old. Her years of experience in both marketing and research proved her strengths are in her perceptibility and creativity. She can often be found waiting in car lines, cheering on the side -lines at various youth sporting events, or running the streets of Wynnewood.
Mairin joins us from Pittsburgh and hopes you won’t hold her love for the Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates against her. She received both her BS in Marketing and Leadership/Change Management and Master of Business Administration from Duquesne University. She has been a member of the Family Focus Media team since 2016 and also does work for the Philadelphia Flower Show and Pittsburgh Irish Festival.
Lauren is a communications and content design expert on a mission to help you express yourself! After four years in healthcare marketing, becoming eager to break into new industries, she started offering freelance marketing support for businesses of all kinds! Lauren currently resides in Mount Airy, Philadelphia. When she’s not zoned-in on her laptop during business hours, you will probably find her playing volleyball, cuddling her cats, hanging with friends, or she hopes – at a concert!
A transplant from North Jersey, Kristen quickly fell in love with the charm of Philly and all of the city’s many offerings. Using her background in sales, she strives to connect with and spread the word of local businesses to support Philly’s ever-growing and diversifying families. When she isn’t wrangling her two boys, you can most likely find her walking around Port Richmond with her pup, scoping out new restaurants in the city, and honing her baking skills in the kitchen.

After years in public relations and marketing communications roles, she joined Family Focus in 2022 to help build and connect the local communities. Philly born-and-raised (go Lancers!), Stef is a nonprofit communications professional, toddler and dog mom, and co-owner of 2StreetSammies food truck. As a freelance writer, she covers what she knows — the trials and tribulations of parenting, as well as resources to help moms feel supported – and hopefully, a little more sane! She also mentors young women, and volunteers for mission-driven causes to help make the city where she grew up a kinder and better place.
As a mom of three boys, Kristin has found solace in writing for many years. She has had two Young Adult novels published, and is thrilled to keep her writing knives honed with Philadelphia Family. She grew up in scenic Chester County, and still calls it home. Her local knowledge and part-time work as a substitute teacher help keep her in touch with the goings-on in the area. She enjoys sunny walks in her West Chester neighborhood and tasty bites at out-of-the-way eateries.
Tara brings to Main Line Parent more than 20 years experience covering the Main Line and Western Suburbs full-time for another local publication. Currently, she is fully dedicating her working hours to freelance projects from writing articles to consulting on social media and marketing endeavors for small companies. After growing up in Delaware County (she’s very proud of her DELCO roots), and spending the years after graduating from Saint Joseph’s University in Chester County, she now has been further north in the Bucks County area for close to a decade. Give her the opportunity and she loves to share what makes Bucks such a special place to live and raise a family! She recently spent two years as an expat in England with her husband and two young sons, but is now on her preferred side of the pond enjoying all that the Philadelphia suburbs has to offer. If she’s not on the sidelines of her sons’ flag football and baseball games, she can be found checking out the area’s newest restaurants and shops or on any of the beaches along the Jersey Shore when the weather permits.
