cinéKIDZ presents Turning Red—in partnership with YES!

You’re invited to join cinéSPEAK for the inaugural season of cinéKIDZ!
cinéKIDZ invites children ages 3 to 10 and their caregivers to discover magical worlds, unforgettable characters, and stories that inspire curiosity, kindness, and wonder. Each free monthly gathering transforms the library into a playful movie experience with films, hands-on art activities, live music, and conversations designed just for young audiences. In partnership with local artists and community organizations, cinéKIDZ celebrates imagination, diverse perspectives, and the joy of storytelling while helping children build empathy, confidence, and meaningful connections with one another. cinéKIDZ is presented thanks to generous lead support provided by the William Penn Foundation.
In October, cinéSPEAK is delighted to host YES! Your Empowered Sexuality as guest curators and program facilitators. YES! provides intersectional, consent-based, shame-free sexuality education to all people using interactive workshops, social media, and other mediums. Join YES! and cinéSPEAK for a day of learning, play, and empowerment for elementary schoolers. You’ll explore themes of changing bodies, handling embarrassment, friendship, and self-love through stories, art, and play.
