Located on Philadelphia’s historic Independence Mall, there is no better place for history enthusiasts and families to celebrate. On our nation’s birthday, enjoy a day of activities to promote a deeper understanding of our nation’s culture and values.
Schedule of Fun:
Philly’s official 4th of July parade kicks off in Old City at 11 AM, beginning at South Second & Market Street and ending at City Hall. Whether you prefer the indoors or the fresh air outside, they’ve got you covered with a fantastic viewing party.
12 PM Design your crown and wear it proudly during a read-aloud & dynamic performance by Khalil Munir.
1 PM Sing and Dance along with Two of a Kind, an interactive musical performance for kids of all ages!
2 -3:30 PM Adoughma (Ah-DOUGH-mah) dough play; sensory-friendly play dough fun (all ages) with Erin Beser.
12 – 4 PM An exciting self-paced scavenger hunt awaits kids of all ages, ensuring an entertaining and educational experience for the whole family.
12 – 4 PM Make-and-Take 4th of July crafts, a perfect opportunity to enjoy the festivities and cool off indoors.
