Springtime in Franklin Square means the spectacular fountain is back on and dancing to music, the SquareBurger grill is sizzling, the carousel is spinning, and new trees are being planted, all ready for the season ahead. Come for FREE rides aboard the Parx Liberty Carousel (11 am – 1 pm), and the opening day first performance of the Franklin Square Fountain Show (12 noon, and then every 30 minutes).

Sip & Shop for Mother’s Day Gifts (Saturday, April 27, 12 – 5 pm) – Have a cocktail from The Wine Garden West in the Pavilion Bar then head outside to shop for unique, hand crafted, gifts for mom from all female-owned vendors.

Franklin Square Fountain Show (Opens Saturday, April 27, at 12 noon, shows run every 30 minutes from 12 noon – park closing, daily) – The 186-year-old historic Rendell Family Fountain dazzles with a spectacular show featuring choreographed lights and water. Fountain jets dance magically with dramatic lighting and music as LED lights glisten for visitors. Guests visiting the park day or night can enjoy free choreographed “performances” that showcase the historic infrastructure of the fountain.

Philly Mini Golf: Putt around the city on this Philadelphia-themed miniature golf course. $13 adults/$11 children (3-12), guests 2 years of age and younger are FREE with paid accompanying guardian
