Grand Illumination at American Heritage Credit Union

American Heritage Credit Union’s Annual Grand Illumination celebration is the perfect event to kick-off the holiday season. Our free Grand Illumination has become one of the most beloved holiday traditions in Philadelphia and includes the lighting of two 40-foot Christmas trees, hundreds of wreaths, and over 400,000 lights.
At the Grand Illumination, families can enjoy the sounds of the holiday season. Ben Franklin and Betsy Ross are on hand to lend a colonial flavor to the evening’s events. At the event, the Kids-N-Hope Foundation presents a donation to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. In the spirit of giving, attendees are encouraged to bring a canned food item to help American Heritage reach its goal of 20,000 pounds for its annual holiday food drive.
