Yes! And…’s Summer Sort of Thing presents “Down with the Crown”
Outdoor family theatre in Germantown!
A long time ago in a world not unlike our own, there arose a problem of royal proportions. The King stinks, and not just the under-the-arm kind, he’s really bad. Not evil, just awful, and the adults seem happy to do nothing about it. It’s up to the kids in the quiet hamlet of Blankety-Blank Bay to take matters into their own hands. But who knew revolution would prove so difficult? Through original songs and dance, the story of King Claude and his rocky relationship with his “loyal” subjects is told. Featuring the rocking anthem where our show received its title, Down With the Crown, is sure to please your young theatre-goer and their family!
Join Yes! And… Collaborative Arts’ summer outdoor musical theatre series, Summer Sort of Thing, as we once again spin a tale that cannot be imagined elsewhere! Down with the Crown runs three evenings only, opening on Wednesday, July 24 and closing July 26. Shows are at 6pm. This is a free performance (a suggested donation of $5). Families are encouraged to bring their own blankets and lawn chairs. Some concessions will be available to purchase at the performance. The show runs approximately 60 minutes, is performed without an intermission, and is appropriate for all ages.
