The Philadelphia Chorus will present the concert ‘Remembrance’ on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 4 PM at the Philadelphia Episcopal Cathedral. The program will feature Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem, a composition reflecting his peaceful approach to death, influenced by his musical background and the traditions of sacred music. The concert will also include Kim André Arnesen’s Requiem for Solace, a work designed to provide comfort to those grieving, and works by Z. Randall Stroope and others. The performance aims to create an atmosphere of depth, intimacy, and transcendence.
