Celebrate summer’s arrival with an afternoon of nature-inspired artmaking at The Random Tea Room. Using seasonal flowers, leaves, and dye plants, participants will create botanical prints on tea towels through a simple leaf and flower pounding technique called tatakizome or hapazome. Sip herbal infusions as you craft and take home a hand-printed tea towel—a unique piece of functional botanical art.
No experience needed. All ages welcome. Materials provided. Space is limited.
