Celebrate Black History Month with AAMP’s second youth costume party! On Saturday, February 22nd, AAMP invites young visitors (13 and under) to honor Black excellence by dressing as their favorite figure in Black History.
In the Jack T. Franklin Auditorium, children can participate in the Wax Museum Activity. Dressed as their chosen historical figure, they can strike a pose and share fun facts with other guests.
The day will conclude with a dramatic reading by one of AAMP’s amazing Learning Through the Arts Workshop facilitators, featuring one of their favorite Black History Heroes.
Join the celebration and honor your favorite hero this Black History Month!
