April First Saturday Open House—Spring Fest! at Wagner Free Institute of Science

Flowers are blooming, pollinators are buzzing, and the days are getting longer. Join the Wagner Museum and our community partners, The Discovery Center, LandHealth Institute, Sanctuary Farm, and Tree House Books for our April First Saturday Open House — Spring Fest!
Saturday, April 5th, from 12 – 4PM, observe the shapes, sizes, and colors of different native flowers, get an up-close look at a buzzing bee colony, and engage your creative skills in an animal-track pattered art project. The Wagner will have binoculars, magnifying glasses, natural identification guides, and friendly staff on hand to help visitors learn from the different natural resources in our yard.
Inside the Wagner’s Victorian Lecture hall, members from The Discovery Center will give a lively presentation at 1PM and again at 3PM on the vital role of native pollinators and native plants in supporting both environmental health and community well-being. As always, the Exhibit Hall will be open for self-guided exploration of the natural history collection throughout the day.
Admission to our First Saturday events is free to everyone! Registration is recommended but not required.
