¡Bailar en FDR! Salsa Class and Social Dance

June 5 @ 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Spend select Friday evenings dancing under the stars at FDR Park’s Gateway Plaza with Fairmount Park Conservancy, DJ Valentin Flores of Dance Philly, and a welcoming community of dancers. From 7–11 PM, guests can enjoy an energetic night of music, movement, and culture while meeting new people and staying active in a fun, social setting.

The evening begins with a one-hour beginner-friendly dance lesson from 7–8 PM led by an experienced instructor, followed by an open social dance from 8–11 PM where dancers of all skill levels can join in.

Located at the corner of Broad Street and Pattison Avenue, Gateway Plaza serves as a vibrant entrance to FDR Park and features colorful public art, custom seating, bike racks, native plantings, water misters, and other pedestrian-friendly amenities.
