Cobbs Creek Community Workday: Stewardship & Nature Walk
Join Fairmount Park Conservancy on Tuesday, August 25th from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM for a volunteer workday at Cobbs Creek Park!
Together, attendees will help care for one of Philadelphia’s most important natural spaces by:
• Removing invasive species
• Picking up litter and debris
• Supporting ongoing stewardship efforts in the park
In addition to making an impact through stewardship, volunteers will have the opportunity to join the Natural Lands team experts in an environmental education session about Cobbs Creek’s plants and wildlife. Take a brief walk and talk to learn more about park’s unique ecosystem!
No experience is necessary. All tools, gloves, supplies, and materials will be provided for the workday. Everyone is welcome!
