The Rail Park’s Community First Plan Focus Group
This in-person community focus group is part of Friends of the Rail Park’s Community First Plan, an effort to understand how the Rail Park can grow in ways that reflect its values and responsibilities to the neighborhoods it runs through. These conversations help guide how they approach growth with care and accountability while exploring how they can amplify work being done within the communities and what connections they can make to further their causes.
The discussion will explore how the Rail Park can support economic opportunity, housing, culture, and the environment, centering the experiences and priorities of people who live and work nearby.
A project of this scale should not grow or change without the voices of the communities it runs through and alongside. The Community First Plan places those voices at the center to help ensure the Rail Park benefits neighborhoods in meaningful, tangible ways.
All participants will receive a Visa gift card. Food and childcare will be provided.
