Just Us Exhibition at the Barnes Foundation
This summer, the Barnes Foundation is exhibiting works by incarcerated artists at State Correctional Institution (SCI) Phoenix, southeast Pennsylvania’s maximum-security prison for men and members of Mural Arts Philadelphia’s Rec Crew, a job readiness and life skills program for justice-impacted young adults.
Just Us reflects on the past, present, and future of the US as we mark our 250th anniversary. Original works consider the power of memory, celebrate heritage and community, and explore the resilience of hope.
Admission to the exhibit is free with general admission to the museum.
