Kwanzaa Celebration Free Community Day with Penn Museum
Celebrate Kwanzaa with the whole family through captivating performances from Karen Smith Drumming and violinist Owen Valentine, hands-on workshops exploring Kwanzaa principles like unity and creativity, and engaging traditions including storytelling, music, and dance. The celebration features a marketplace with local artisans, handmade Zawadi gifts for all, and honors African heritage and community. Presented in partnership with the University of Pennsylvania Center for Africana Studies.
