Lunar New Year

Join Friends of the Rail Park, Philadelphia Chinatown Development Corporation, Asian Arts Initiative, Philadelphia Suns, Callowhill Neighborhood Association, Asian Pacific Islander Political Alliance, Asian Americans United, Students for the Preservation of Chinatown, Bethesda Project, Philly House and Ballet SunMi to celebrate the Lunar New Year at the Rail Park!
Celebrated across the AAPI diaspora, Lunar New Year is a holiday symbolizing hope and prosperity– a time to reunite with family and friends, marked by vibrant cultural traditions.
Usher in the year of the Wood Dragon with family-friendly activities, light refreshments, and a lion dance performance by the Philadelphia Suns. This event is free with registration encouraged.
The Philadelphia Suns will perform at 2 PM.
