PECO Family Jams: Portraits in the Gardens

The Magic Gardens’ current exhibition, “Entre Raíces y Alas: Obras de Santiago Galeas / Between Roots and Wings: Works by Santiago Galeas,” features the artist’s unique blend of realistic portraits and fantastic landscapes. Families are invited to get creative and turn their own image into a work of art using scrapbooking materials, all while surrounded by Galeas’ stunning pieces. Families are welcome to bring a photo from home, or have their picture taken at the Magic Gardens and printed out on the spot for free.
Free tours of the fully mosaicked basement will be offered at 12:30, 1:30, 2:30, and 3:30 pm, where visitors can explore the many faces found throughout the Magic Gardens Museum’s mosaic collection.
PECO Family Jams is the Magic Gardens’ family-oriented program held on the second Sunday of every month from noon to 4:00 pm. Crafts and basement tours are included with regular admission. Families are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance.
