Does your dog have what it takes to be the next Philly Spokesdog? Bring your leashed furry friend and join the fun at the Philadelphia Water Department’s Spokesdog Competition! Dogs and humans alike will enjoy an afternoon of fun games and activities, trivia, a pet caricature artist, and snacks. The Spokesdog competition will begin at 3:30 pm to elect the 2026 PWD Spokesdog, whose ‘doodies’ include appearing in social media campaigns and at in-person events throughout the year (with compensation) to educate the public about the importance of proper cleanup and disposal of dog waste. No pre-registration required.
