The Philadelphia Women’s Theatre Festival presents a day of art and entertainment for children of all ages! On Sunday, July 27th, head to Fishtown at the NKCDC Garden for a magical candy-land themed day! Doors open at 12:30PM. The performance of the new play “The Land of Jim Dandy,” written by Philly Young Playwrights student Grace Fetsick, directed by Becky Fleckner, will begin at 1:00PM. After the show, stay all afternoon for more offerings like a character creation workshop with PYP’s Director of Education & Programs, Madeline Charne, face painting, live music, and crafts! There will also be water, snacks, Jeni’s ice cream, and a raffle where you can win exciting prizes! The day will conclude at 5:00PM.
