On Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 7:00-10:00 PM, The Dandelion Project (TDP), a South Philly-based nonprofit supporting alternative education and youth development, is hosting a Casino Night Fundraiser at 1415 S. 9th Street, Philadelphia. This lively event will bring together families, educators, and community members for an evening of games of skill and chance, delicious food, drinks, and amazing prizes—generously donated by local businesses, artists, and cultural organizations.
TDP operates Wild Seeds Agile Learning Community, along with after-care, camps, and enrichment programs for young people. Nearly all families accessing TDP’s programs benefit from a sliding scale tuition model, ensuring that cost is never a barrier to participation. This year, the fundraiser aims to raise $20,000 to support the expansion of TDP’s South Philly space and the launch of a new technology lab for students.
