Virtual Symposium – How can educators and students become more open to and prepared for the possibilities and challenges of AI?

Gesu School is hosting a Gesu Symposium on Education: The AI Skills that Matter for Educators & Students, led by Eric Hudson. This virtual Symposium brings together educators and administrators for a practical presentation and Q&A. The event is free of charge.
Mr. Hudson will examine the rapid advancement of AI, the complex questions it raises, and its instructional impact on teaching and learning. As schools navigate which opportunities to embrace and which risks to avoid, the symposium will highlight four essential skills for educators and students in an AI-driven world: extending the mind, information literacy, playfulness, and ethical decision-making. Participants will leave with practical, human-centered strategies for thoughtfully engaging with AI in education.
