The Independence Seaport Museum unveils a new core exhibition demonstrating that significant artifacts can be quite small with Small but Mighty!: Models, Toys, and Miniature Ships at the Independence Seaport Museum. This showcase features nearly 50 rare aquatic vehicle models, ranging from meticulously crafted naval vessels to the toys enjoyed by Victorian children. Among the highlights of this all-ages display are models of the renowned WWII heavy cruiser USS Indianapolis, famously featured in the film Jaws, and the Napoleonic War Model, a British frigate skillfully carved from bone by prisoners of war. Admission to this new exhibition is included with standard museum tickets.
