WHAT AN AMAZING COMPANY WITH AN AMAZING THERAPISTS! My son was diagnosis at age 2 with ASD. We joined the Small talk community a few months ago and it has been amazing for him as well as myself. As parents we want someone who genuinely loves what they do, are compassionate and understands where your child is developmentally. All sessions are child led, which I love. If my son sit quiets, stims, babbles etc, it’s all recognized and celebrated! I’ve been able to work with two therapist, Bridget and Kristen who came in and literally changed our lives. My son receives session at home and at daycare. They are so sweet and really have became friends with my son. The way they have helped my son flourish with communicating is amazing! They have taught me so much. I love their way of meeting him where he is but always providing other ways of communicating to him! I can’t thank Small talk enough for the way they approach and understand autism and speech development!

Finding Small Talk was truly a blessing; a major win – a breakthrough. Before our family found Small Talk for our 3-year-old daughter, we hadn’t experienced the guidance, teachings and mission of a neurodiversity-affirming therapist before. Within weeks of starting with Small Talk, we noticed a change in our daughter’s communication. We also noticed a shift in how we parent and understand her. It was like someone turned on a light in all of our collective brains. They met our daughter where she was, and let her lead. They listened, and gave her the tools she needed to communicate, to be heard, and to be in control of her autonomy, her play and her interests. To say she blossomed is an understatement. Bridget is currently our child’s SLP, and we could not be happier and more grateful. We are constantly learning from Bridget! Not only does she come to each session with tools and resources for the whole family, but Small Talk facilitates monthly support/information groups for parents, caregivers, and even child are professionals. Do you know when you meet people who seem to have been born to do what they do for a living? That’s Small Talk! They love what they do, and that love is filtered through everything they offer.
