The Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School (PA Cyber)
Description
PA Cyber is one of the nation’s largest and most experienced online public K-12 schools. As a public school, PA Cyber is open for enrollment by any school-age child residing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and does not charge tuition. Students receive the technology, textbooks, and support materials that they need to succeed. Founded in 2000, PA Cyber is headquartered in Midland (Beaver County) and maintains a network of nine regional offices that serve as hubs for enrollment, orientation, and year-round enrichment activities.
PA Cyber’s state-certified teachers and academic advisors ensure students achieve their academic goals, and they are readily available by phone or email. Students choose the learning format that suits them: virtual classes offer real-time instruction and daily interaction with teachers and classmates, while blended classes offer a mix of virtual and self-paced instruction. Extensive course offerings allow students to gain a solid foundation in core curriculum while unlocking personal interests through electives. The school offers more than 70 clubs and workshops and hundreds of field trips each year.
