Experience the magic with an all-new collection of handcrafted Chinese lantern displays that showcase the artistry and cultural heritage behind the centuries-old tradition of lantern-making. Explore glowing landscapes filled with magnificent illuminated sculptures, one-of-a-kind themed lanterns celebrating the global events coming to Philly this summer, and stunning displays of animals and flowers, all brought to life through traditional Chinese lantern art.

Philly Pride 365 Festival 2026

Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia

June 7, 2026 | Pride March 11 am–1 pm | Pride Festival 12–7 pm

Philly Pride 365 is back this year on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway as the festival continues to become one of Philadelphia’s largest civic and cultural gatherings. The 2026 theme is “Pride is Power”, highlighting the resilience of the LGBTQ+ community over the past year. The official Pride March will start near the National Constitution Center and end at the Eakins Oval. Attendees are encouraged to make supportive signs and show up in their most eccentric “Pride is Power” attire!

FIFA Fan Festival

Lemon Hill in East Fairmount Park, Philadelphia

June 11 through July 10, 2026 | Times vary

Philadelphia’s FIFA Fan Festival is free and open to the public for all 39 days of the FIFA World Cup 2026. Join your fellow fanatics at Lemon Hill in East Fairmount park in a celebration of community, culture, music, and sport. Along with watch parties on match days, programming includes ticketed concert experiences, a vendor village with local artisan goods, an iconic “Philly Phlavor” food truck lineup, and more!

Registration is required, and access each day is first-come, first-served.

Odunde Festival

Locations vary for festival week | Festival at 23rd and South Street, Philadelphia

June 7–14, 2026 | Festival June 14, 2026

Celebrate African American culture at Odunde, the largest African American street festival in North America! A Philadelphia tradition since 1975, the event unites over 500,000 attendees annually, and reflects the values of Odunde 365, a year-round cultural program that builds community by promoting holistic wellness.

In the week leading up to the festival day, attendees can have a cocktail with CEO Oshunbumi Fernandez-West, learn about the legacy of founder Lois Fernandez at a special luncheon, participate in an African Business Roundtable, and join Odunde 365 Fitness in a morning of movement and connection available to all skill levels. On June 14th, the Odunde Festival takes full effect along South Street and Grays Ferry Avenue. Prepare to experience live music on two stages, hang out in the sports zone, and shop from 100+ local vendors to support Black-owned businesses in the city. Juneteenth Jubilee

African American Museum in Philadelphia

June 19, 2026 | 12 pm–5 pm

In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the African American Museum in Philadelphia, join local artists and performers for the Juneteenth Jubilee. This year, headlining performances by DJ Jazzy Jeff, Slick Rick, Doug E. Fresh & Leah Jenea, and Patty Jackson keep the energy high while attendees socialize and honor the history of Juneteenth. Guests can also step into the new Jazz Tunnel to experience live performances from a 15-piece jazz band, a relaxing lounge, food trucks, and shaded seating. This event is open to the whole family, offering a PECO Kids Zone with arcade and outdoor games, a rock wall, and more!

Free admission to the museum is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Philadelphia Juneteenth Festival

Johnson House Historic Site, 6300 block of Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia

June 20, 2026 | 12 pm–7 pm

Another way to recognize and celebrate Juneteenth is the 20th annual Philadelphia Juneteenth Festival at the Johnson House, one of the most significant Underground Railroad sites in the nation. This event is free and family-friendly, holding a space to honor culture, heritage, and ancestry through live music, food trucks, panel discussions, kid game zones, and community engagement.

Philly Fair 250

Avenue of the Republic and E Memorial Hall Drive, Philadelphia

June 20, 2026 | 2 pm–9:30 pm

Day one of the Philly Fair 250 offers a multitude of activities to kick-off our celebration of the Semiquincentennial. This year, the Centennial District will bring history to life through culture, cuisine, music, and adventure. In honor of the 250th Anniversary, the National Liberty Museum will also display a life-sized replica of the Liberty Bell. Attendees can also expect interactive exhibits, workshops, and family-friendly activities curated by Philadelphia institutions including The Philadelphia Zoo, The Science History Institute, Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and more.

Guests can experience a tailored culinary journey with food trucks representing flavors from the original 13 colonies, soar above the festival with a spectacular trapeze attraction and hot air balloon rides, and enjoy performances from world-renowned artists alongside Philadelphia’s exceptional local talent. The night ends with an exciting historical fireworks display!

Philadelphia Juneteenth Parade and Festival

Malcolm X Park, West Philadelphia

June 21, 2026 | 11 am–8 pm

Continuing to honor the legacy of Juneteenth, celebrate black culture and heritage at the Philadelphia Juneteenth Parade and Festival. The parade starts at Highmark Mann on South Concourse Drive before flowing down 52nd Street and ending at 52nd & Pine street. After watching the procession of over 2000 participants, guests can enjoy the free, all-ages festival at Malcolm X Park with interactive art activities, live music, and a diverse marketplace hosting local small businesses.

Kid-friendly activities will be held in the Youth Pavillion, including a game truck, moon bounce, and giveaways. Adult guests can also attend the Car Show and Rolling Car Museum after filling up on Food Truck Row. Five Points Night Market

Escape the summer heat and experience the high energy vibe of the Five Points Night Market. Hosted in Northeast Philadelphia, the night offers a variety of local food trucks and vendors, as well as live performances and kid-friendly activities. Guests of all ages can enjoy a rock climbing wall, video game truck, face painting, caricature artists, body airbrush art, and outdoor games.

Guests can also vote in the Food Truck Royalty Competition, judged by local celebrities, and take part in a fun Food Magazine photo shoot. There’s something for all ages at the Five Points Night Market, don’t miss this lively neighborhood gathering!

Celebration of Black Music Month + Fireworks

The Dell Music Center, East Fairmount Park, Philadelphia

Black Music Month was founded in Philadelphia, so what better place to celebrate it? Join other music-lovers at the Dell Music Center for a special evening curated by legend Dyana Williams. Experience moving performances highlighting musical styles created by Black artists, and enjoy food, fun activities, and a stunning fireworks show to conclude the night.

This free family music festival hosted at Smith Memorial Playground in Fairmount Park brings together kids of all ages. Concilio’s Annual Hispanic Fiesta

BlackStar Film Festival

Known as “the Black Sundance,” this internationally acclaimed film festival showcases over 90 films from 35+ countries. Families can enjoy selected screenings, director talks, and a Friday night concert, all celebrating the storytelling power of Black, Brown, and Indigenous creators. This year marks their 15th anniversary!

Philadelphia Folk Festival

Old Pool Farm in Upper Salford Township, Montgomery County

August 14 through August 16, 2026 | Times vary

Hosting over 20 bands and solo artists, folk music fans won’t want to miss a minute of the 63rd annual Philadelphia Folk Festival. Located on Old Pool Farm in Montgomery County, multi-generational audiences gather every summer to share their love for musical expression. Performances are presented from 11 am to midnight on Friday and Saturday, and from 11 am-9:30 pm on Sunday. Attendees are encouraged to pitch tents on the large farmer’s field and socialize with their temporary neighbors to fully embrace the community aspect of this festival. Camping spots are first-come-first-served, but the Camping Committee time-releases reserved areas as needed.

Concilio’s Annual Puerto Rican Day Parade

Celebrate the rich diversity of Puerto Rican heritage, culture, and pride on the parkway this September. The annual Puerto Rican Day Parade honors the history and resilience of the community with traditional music and dance, poetry, and cultural expressions. Hosting over 1500 marchers, more than 5000 attendees, and tens of thousands of live television viewers through 6ABC Philadelphia, the event is free and open to all!

More than just a parade, the event is a living tribute to Puerto Rican culture, community leadership, and legacy in Philadelphia. Come together with family and friends to share stories and learn more about the boricua identity.
