PECO Family Jams at Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens: One Book One Philadelphia
This month, the crafting program is inspired by the Free Library’s “One Book One Philadelphia” selection: The Artivist, written and illustrated by Nikkolas Smith. In this picture book, a young artist uses his talent to fight for a better world by creating murals, protest signs, and street art interventions. You are invited to turn a pin-back button into wearable artwork that expresses support for something you love.
PECO Family Jams are PMG’s family-oriented programs held on the second Sunday of every month between noon and 4:00 p.m. Crafts and basement tours are included with regular admission to PMG.
