PECO Free First Sunday at the Barnes Foundation
Every first Sunday of the month, the Barnes Foundation offers free, themed admission for families. Visitors can enjoy art activities, performances, and free access to the collection and Henri Rosseau: A Painter’s Secrets.
For February, this program is presented in collaboration with the African American Children’s Book Project ahead of their annual book fair on Saturday, February 7, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. This event features a reading, performance, and interactive workshop with award-winning authors Carole Boston Weatherford and Jeffery Weatherford. Their newest book, Rap It Up!, teaches all about poetry, rap, and the power of creativity.
Registration opens Thursday, January 29, at 10am.
