Southeast Asian Market in FDR Park
Families are warmly invited to discover the Southeast Asian Market in FDR Park, a Philadelphia tradition over 35 years in the making, officially opening for the 2026 season on Saturday, April 4 and open every weekend until October 31.
More than a market, this vibrant community space is rooted in the stories of Lao, Khmer, Thai, Vietnamese, and Indonesian refugee and immigrant communities who have made FDR Park their home. Browse stalls filled with authentic dishes, culturally specific produce, plants, clothing, and handmade jewelry, all offered by vendors who have been sharing their heritage here for generations.
Families curious about where to start can join a guided market tour to sample Southeast Asian staples, learn the history behind the vendors, and get to know the people who make this place so special.
